Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread
Past few days. Some of these I ordered a month ago but they were from international sellers. That’s the best when you forget about a card and it just pops up in your mailbox.

Re: Post your funniest error card
woah that sounds interesting, would love to see that when you find it I didn’t notice it or care as a kid. I stumbled across it in like 2018. It’s not that crazy. The top part is holofoil. Now if it was 97-98 and half the card was red, that would be epic. I remember others talking about this. The f...

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread
My favorite type of maildays. Nothing super valuable or extremely rare but the cards make me remember why I collect in the first place

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread
That Marbury is incredible. I really want to add a 97-98 Century Marks at some point, haven’t thought about anyone specifically though. I been holding off for years. It started to creep up in value and I was borderline pricing myself out of one. Luckily the title didn’t mention Autographics and it ...

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread
eBay authentication missed a big dimple on my Mathurin that wasn't visible on auction photos either. My experiences with authentication have not been good so far. A dimple won’t get sent back. You can still get a mint 9 with a dimple unless it’s extreme. A pinch however, is more severe than a dimpl...

Re: Lenticular cards. Post them.
Wow never seen that one. I think you’re right. I loved the foil insert version of those. That’s awesome. I always wondered about the wrapper redemption. As a kid, if you never seen anyone with it, you just assumed it was a scam

Re: Post your funniest error card
That’s sick. I love old Flair. Errors are so sought after in baseball cards. That never caught on for basketball. I’ll have to dig in my shoe boxes. I have a Mark Jackson 98-99 metal universe that has the top half being a PMG woah that sounds interesting, would love to see that when you find it I d...

Re: Lenticular cards. Post them.
The movement on the Hot numbers is crazy. The background really feels like it’s floating. It’s probably my favorite after the 97 Jambalaya. I felt like the 96 thrill seeker movement was very minimal and left a lot to be desired yet it still looks great in hand. It’s difficult to photograph these car...

Lenticular cards. Post them.
Post some of your favorites. Topps has actually been using this in their baseball cards since the 60s. It’s that 3D plastic that gives the illusion of movement.

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread
You're cruising through those Kemp cards...this is great! Here's a card I got recently Bennedict Mathurin Recon Draft Night auto.jpg Thanks. I’m avoiding the numbered stuff and just focusing on the inserts I wanted as a kid. It can get expensive quick Luckily the hobby is down overall. I can only i...

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread
My first eBay mailday. PSA handles all the graded cards. They get shipped to Cali first. The non graded stuff goes to Florida and CGC handles that. The raw stuff is a lot more thorough. They look at the serial numbers, if the card been altered, if the auto is fake (on pack pulled autos only.). The g...

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread
Sweet Kemps - yeah, the Court Masters is one I remember from when I was a kid, I also really enjoyed the Rising Star inserts which had this glossy paint canvas feel. I have the whole set...I might build the Court Masters set one day, but once the Jordan gets cheaper I'll consider it. Steph is in th...

Re: How long does it take for Goldin to mail a paid auction item?
It took them about 3 weeks to mail mine and I was living in NJ at the time. I heard this is not common though as they are typically quick. I felt like a baller getting a $140 card from Goldin lol. Hope you get it soon

Re: 2022-23 Chronicles is Live
I enjoyed the product as well. The inserts translated well in chrome holos. I’m glad they stopped releasing it as a standalone. The quality control was horrible on the hoops premium release. Dimples galore, off centered cards, horrible registration. If you were lucky to find a clean card, the stampi...

I’m trying to avoid panini with my restarted Kemp PC but some cards are undeniable and a must.

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread
^ thanks. I love the court masters. I never paid attention to the set as Marbury wasn’t in it. I didn’t even realize the cards were acetate and thought it was an underwhelming case hit but they are nice in hand and the zoomed in action shots are cool.

Re: Cards you wish you kept
I will say though, one that hurt was selling a flawless 2 color jumbo patch of Maravich #/9. I even let it go fairly cheap knowing that it was going to a good pc. The reason I sold was to have the funds needed to buy a 96 marbury legacy row 0. I end up losing the auction and rage buying bin cards th...

Re: Cards you wish you kept
All of them. The list can go on from dealers fleecing me to having to sell grails to acquire what felt like a grail (until a second and third copy of the card made its way on eBay after a long hiatus). And none of them at the same time. If I factor in all the underpriced late night BINs, poorly list...

HOLY!! Wow. Congrats Thanks, I got the Court Commemoratives auto from maconithappen on BO, he even threw this in as a freebie. Haven't gotten around to taking any pics until now, it's the best I could do on a lenticular set like this... https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53053556034_5847e8ffd0_b.j...

Re: 90s parallel?
The crash is overblown. Yea there’s a crash for investment type cards like rookies, high grades rc’s etc but in my daily searches for marbury, the prices are as high as they ever been. In some cases, even higher. I’ll say the non rare stuff has come down a bit but case hits and numbered 90s are way...
