I'm a sucker for these Metal framed Noir cards so had to include this as an Honorable mention.

Next player I'll be showing off is Kobe. This was super tough. I think Kobe might be my most valuable PC out of everyone that I collect. Cutting it to 10 cards was tough, but I managed to do it. So off we go!

3-2015-16 Panini Flawless Patches Ruby /12


My favorite game used card of Kobe. I bought this way before the Pandemic thankfully. What more can you say? Panini's most high end brand (minus the years they release Eminence), a huge mulitcolored patch and numbered to only 12 copies

Pack Pulled myself. I don't typically go for or keep retail unnumbered parallels, but this one is the one exception. A beautiful color match

3- 2017-18 Panini Contenders Premium Vertical Auto RC


Love that Contenders included a shiny version of their rookie autos. Optic Contenders would come out the following year so this is the closest card to that.

2-2017-18 Panini Donruss Optic Rated Rookie Autograph RC Purple Holo


Similar to the one Hondo showed off, but mine is the retail exclusive Purple parallel. Unnumbered, but like Hondo said, just an amazing looking card with a nice on card sig and iconic Rated Rookie Logo

Oh man! I love your Tatums Chris! I've never been a big Prizm guy but i've always wanted one of those Tatum RC green Prizms, the green on green color match is so nice! Someday when prices come down on those i'd be able to pick one haha. Love that contenders auto RC and of course, the Optic Purple Holo is a banger!

It says a lot when those gold framed Noirs don't even make the top 10! You make me want to upgrade that Hali I just got in to a gold...though I doubt I would afford that.

I'll echo mindcycle that your photography makes every card pop! In a different setting I could probably write a paragraph complimenting each card. But in order of sharing:

1. I echo your thoughts on My House, great design and theme. Love the intense photography. Wish they didn't use the same players every year for repeat insert sets like that.
2. I absolutely LOVE the way the galactic looks on a die cut. I've never noticed that before, so maybe it's specific to that Lift Off design, but there's just a ton of awesome on that card including that photo of Tatum dunking.
3. The Vanguard Press is a great set. Wonderful on theme design without being gimmicky in the way that some theme focused cards can be. Good bordering and framing with a lot of foil. In game photography is always a plus and a great embedded spot for the on card auto. And it chronicles a significant moment from that player's rookie season. I really think it has all the aspects of a high quality card. I may be biased because I have a Kings team set
4. That In Flight auto is Select at its finest: clean chrome design with lots of shine, great photography, with a bold on card auto. Has Select gone back to on card auto sets? It was a real shame when they went away from that.
5. Is that Flawless patch a rookie? Amazing card either way, but I've been enamored with Flawless rookie patches recently.
6. 17-18 optic is such an enigma to me. It was the last year with a unique design that wasn't just Hoops 2.0. I have no idea why Panini went away from unique designs and started recycling the same designs for Optic year after year.

Great starting lineup of Tatum cards. I will never not be envious at the incredible cards you've pack pulled. Bummer that the current state of the hobby doesn't quite allow for that anymore. I love the Tatum green because I think green might be my favorite prizm parallel despite its abundance and resulting lack of value; it's so vibrant and pops nicely on the base and the inserts.

Time for some Truth!
Paul Pierce is such a polarizing guy. You either love him or hate him LOL It's easy to shit on him now with his loud social media presence and all his hot takes but make no mistake, Pierce was a Baaaaaaad man! Dude was stabbed 11 times after his sophomore season and came back the next year and averaged 25 pts. and played all 82 games. That's toughness right there!

9. Panini Innovations Gold /10 - From one of Kyle from the Wax Museum podcast's favorite products, Panini Innovations are famous for the laser-cut, die-cut cards.


8. UD Masterpieces - Such a cool set that doesn't break the bank. This set depicts lots of incredible moments from the NBA like Dominique Wilkins winning the dunk contest, Jordan crying from his 1st championship and this 08' C's championship just to name a few. I's a fun and cheap binder project that i am working on.


7. UD Ultimate Collection - Ultimate Signatures. Love that Big bold auto.


6. UD Ultimate Auto jersey - One of the 1st Pierce cards i picked up when i got back in the hobby.



5. Topps contemporary collection - Insane shine on this card. I mean, just look at that shine!


4. 12-23 Flawless patch - I have some Pierce patches but this one takes the cake.


3. UD Black Ticket Autographs /15 - I love this UD Black.


2. Panini One & one Timeless Moments - One of the most clutch players in NBA history (yup he was, look it up! lol). Here he is doing it to the Heat at the buzzer in the playoffs.


1. Immaculate Dual auto - Two of my guys auto in the same card! These 2 guys were so much fun to watch on the court together in the early 2000's. They went on an improbable run to the Eastern Conference finals against the Nets. Fun times.

Nice pick-ups! If i was a Kings fan, i would definitely start PC'ing Keegan Murray. Love that dude. And 3 bucks for that dual GU is a steal. Love that Kings team and everytime highlight reels of them pop up on twitter, i stop and always watch. Such a fun squad. Goodluck on that Haliburton Flawless patch hunt!

Kinda had to stretch it on 10 here, but I was closer to 10 than 5 for Allen Iverson so here we go!

10-1996-97 Topps NBA At 50 Parallel RC



This was pack pulled but like 20 years after it originally came out. Believe it or not, for some people out there, older boxes were readily available at affordable prices. I picked up jumbo box of 1996-97 Topps Series 2 off Ebay for under $100 back in 2017 and ripped. Pulled multiple copies of all the rookies in the set (and of course the series 2 of MJ). This was my best NBA@50 parallel. I really like the look of these as these are the "poor man"'s version of Topps Chrome.

9-2002-03 Fleer Platinum Nameplates Jersey Patch (#115/485)



In an era of overproduced memorabilia cards, this stand out to me because of the uniqueness of the design. I absolutely love it. Having a nice patch from the Sixers alternate blue jersey makes it great as well.

8-1996-97 Topps Chrome RC


Another sentimental pick here, as this the exact Iverson I pack pulled back when this set came out. This was really the first "monster" card I ever owned. I still vividly remember all the details of this. I remember going to Wal Mart as a kid, seeing this Topps Chrome set and thinking oh cool a new basketball set, let me try a pack. So I bought one pack and lo and behold pulled the AI. The thing is, it was just another card in my collection for a good while before a year later when Kobe and Topps Chrome EXPLODED and suddenly a $12.00 card kept going up and up and up in Beckett each month. I remember waiting in anticipation for the next month's Beckett to see just how much the card had jumped up. At the time, it peaked at $150 Hi Raw and I thought I was RICH lol. I'd never owned a $100+ card in my life! It's a fun reminder of how card collecting was back in the 90's.

One of the more popular parallels from the late 90's. I picked this up years before the Pandemic

I think 1996-97 Flair Showcase Row 0 are GORGEOUS cards. I absolutely love them. Another card I'm thankful I picked up pre pandemic

5-2018-19 Obsidian Galaxy Yellow Etch Autograph (#4/10)


Pack pulled myself. Had a great 2 Box Obsidian break at the time as I pulled this and the Orange Etch Luka Rookie numbered to 25. One of the last products that would be "affordable" before the boom happened. It's a great looking card. Only reason it's not higher it's that it's a sticker auto

4-2016-17 Panini Immaculate Dual Autograph With Marcus Camby (#35/49)


A callback to the star studded 1996-97 Draft Class. Out of allllll the stars from this class, why Camby? Simple, AI was the #1 pick, Camby was #2. Camby might not have lived up the #2 expectations, but he still had a solid career. On card auto from a high end set with a touch of nostalgia

3-1998-99 EX Century Dunk'n Go-Nuts


The innovation of 90's inserts never ceases to amaze me. Another classic memorable insert set from that era.

2-2003-04 Topps Chrome Gold Refractor PSA 8 (#35/99)


The first Topps Chrome set with Gold Refractors. Just a great looking AI

1-1998-99 NBA Hoops Prime Twine (#125/500)


Hands down my favorite AI. Just an awesome looking Die Cut from a low end set that due to the lockout probably wasn't broken a ton. Numbered to 500, when 500 was considered relatively scare. Another card that I probably wouldn't be able to get had I not gotten it pre pandemic

This thread turned into an interesting exercise because I've never really tried ranking pc cards like this. And like Kyle mentioned, some of the following easily cracks my top 10 depending on the day.
I did my best to put these in order like my top 10. Again, interchangeable. #11 is cool because Abra himself tipped me off to the listing a while ago. I couldn't care less about "special" serial numbering, or even numbering in general, but it just happened to be the last in the run.
