lmao
Leore Avadar got called out for theft and fraud on the other forums and it's great to see that Rat Turner / PSA never did anything to go after this clown when he basically scammed PSA and stole from Artee.

Also, keep an eye out for fake 2004 Ulitmate Collection buybacks, specifically Michael Jordan.
Here's one that was recently sold on eBay.

A few other recent sales of fakes.

Doesn't exactly fit the thread description, but thought this would be a good thread to share the warning.

Re: Should Card "Cleaning" be Considered Alteration?
For me personally, it really comes down to what is being done to the card and why it is being done. I don't think there's many that would complain about someone simply wiping dust/dirt off the surface, as they would likely do the same, before putting the card into their own collection.

Nice to see the listing pulled and reaching out to psa is in the works. Some of the complaints towards blowout weren't necessary but I think it's funny that the Blowout employee is getting upset.

Supposedly Brent and crew were ousted but their BS still appears to be engrained within pwcc.

I thought it was an interesting interview and there is likely some truth (a lot?) in the videos, but heavy on speculation for someone on the inside.

Always funny (disappointingly) to see the efforts made in the hobby to censor topics/discussions.

Thanks for the update man. Does look to be the same seller.. 🤦♂️ I'll flag a few of those as well but didn't do much good last time with the bball cards we found. eBay seems to shy away from doing anything about backdoored cards which is too bad.

Not basketball specific but the accounts dumping the fake bowman's best autos (among all the other fake stuff being sold) appear to have got some of their baseball stuff passed by all the major grading companies.

Yeah, shockingly (typo and all) that appears to be a fake letter and BBCE wrapped box. Same BBCE cert (different box and letter) was pictured in this 2017 Heritage listing.

Thanks for the updates man. Scary that Meigray could be duped like this. I don't know what lengths the scammers had to go to in order to convince them to accept those photoshopped images as proof, but if it was just pointing them to a fake website that's pretty sad. One would hope the scammers ...

Yeah, that Meigray letter was in response to the first public questioning of the photo-match. Like cardporn, Meigray was quick to delete the post and link to the document, after the foundation was apparently discovered to be fake.

That blowout thread is pretty interesting, especially if it ends up being the same alleged scammer. Recent posts suggest another match to the addresses.

Re: Panini files antitrust lawsuit against Fanatics
In my opinion, unless there's an early dismissal/settlement (buyout) these legal battles will only be hurting the collector/hobby in the short-term.
Fanatics won't stop signing players to exclusive deals, so the remaining years of Panini's exclusive rights could get real ugly, especially when ...
