This one was a grail of mine for the longest time. Could never find, or afford one as a kid.



In person auto. I had to think long about what I wanted to get signed and it ended up being this one. What a great photo. You just know there is someone crumpled on the floor nearby.



...ok one more, the first Kemp auto I ever got in. Another holy grail, just to have an auto, something I could only dream about when I was younger. The auto on this one makes the whole thing even more special, it's the FULL signature on steroids.

Here's a water fall of colorful 90s, one of my fave sets. I pulled the Shareef myself as a kid. It was a big pull at the time.

Years ago I decided to attempt to put together the complete 300 card set of 2012/13 Panini Silver Knights from the flagship Panini set. There were 3 parallels in this set Gold Knights were found in hobby and had the highest print run (unnumbered), Black Knights were found in Hobby and serial numbered to 10, and lastly there were Silver Knights which were found in retail only.

I chose this set because of the draft class and because of how limited the retail release was. This was an overlooked basic set, not a lot of frills and more targeted for new collectors or lower budget collectors. However, there was a gem to be found if collectors paid attention.

There is no official print run for this set but 12 years after release the population reports show very few graded for each player. My best guess is between 10-15 for each player.

So far I have picked up 45/300. I have some doubles of players and there are probably 50-60 players that I have never seen listed online. I don’t know if I will ever finish the set, but it is always fun to hunt them down and it is a big day when a new piece shows up in the mail.

Those cards are pretty outstanding because of their design and the simple parallel structure. I'm guessing that Lillard is also a Black Knight parallel, but they had to change the color because of the black background? Or is that Silver Knight?

Do you know of any other collectors putting this set together? I ask because when I was putting together Flair Showcase sets, I had a blast corresponding with other Showcase guys and figuring out some of the quirks with the product over the course of a few years.

Looks like a fun chase, what are the card backs like? Any additional photos, or all text?

This one is a repost, but what a banger. One of the best cards in the set, most of the set isn't really all that and the check list half sucks balls. Gotta' see one of these in person, it's like seeing boobs in real life versus on a computer screen, but I wouldn't know anything about that.

Very cool set chase! I love chases like this where the cards are sneaky rare and you aren't getting shill bid on eBay chasing them down because none of those guys know about them, lol. I'm sure that makes it harder to find but might actually be more fun due to that.

Make you wonder how many of these ended up in a trash pile because they are unnumbered and the average person probably had no idea they even pulled a parallel.

The LeBron sale was the Silver Knight version. I haven’t seen a Black Knight LeBron since 2015-16ish.

Damn, I was going to say, that doesn't seem TOO bad for a LBJ Black Knight, but that seems like quite a bit for a silver lol.

Thanks dude. Maybe I'll piece together the Gold Medallion from 95/96 at some point, love the design on that one too.

I don't know why these aren't more popular, but no big deal for me. Oddly, those U.D. Chronology cards, or whatever they're called are super popular, but I never liked those...similar concepts for the card surface.
