Re: I can't bring myself to buy this card because _____________.

Mine is a football example, but I collect from the 90's. And most of the Carolina Panther options feature Rae Curruth. He was their 1st round pick and a WR, so he was a popular choice for most releases. But sadly he choose to murder his girlfriend who was pregnant at the time a couple years into his...

Re: How to calculate approximate print run of a product?

If you add up all the gemstone combinations you get 90 total gemstones of each card. 52 cards have gemstone parallels. So with a gemstone being inserted at 1:13 packs it would take 60,840 packs to find all possible gemstones. There is 2 packs per box, so there is 30,420 of those boxes. But I don't k...

Looking for Sam Mills and other 90s Panthers

Looking for rare Sam Mills in Panthers uniform cards. Still looking to complete my Sam Mills run. Any help would be greatly appreciated as finding defensive players from the 90s can be a bit challenging. Sam Mills Still Needed -1995 Pacific Blue #4 (retail) -1996 Pro Line Printer’s Proof #238 (red f...

Re: Best repository of pack odds

I purchased a Tuff Stuff Standard Catalog for football resources. I settled with a 2006 edition. I wasn't worried about the prices. But it offers a full checklist of every set for most practical purposes. Most releases also have some release information and alot of pack odds. I found a used copy for...

Re: Words of Advice for a New Collector...

I personally decided to focus on mid to late 90s nostalgia. It was too hard for me personally to purchase current releases. The nostalgia feeling is my favorite part, especially cards I could only dream of as a kid. -I like to have some expensive, but rare targets. These types of cards only surface ...

Re: Joe Flacco Cards Appreciation Thread @seedicecards

I was lucky enough to go to the 2007 I-AA Football Championship. Appalachian State jumped all over Delaware. But Flacco did show off his arm on one 39 yard TD. I don't have any Flacco cards but I do have a nice Armanti Edwards card in my collection.

1998 Topps Gold Label binder project

This has been a small binder project that I begin around 2019 when I return to the sports card hobby. I collected as a child from 1989 up through 1998. 1998 Topps gold label was probably one of the last products I opened as teenager. It was a different kind of a product with the three classes and di...
