Math is hard.
Anyone know how to figure out an approximate print run on a product using pack odds and corresponding numbered cards?

If you have 1/1 cards in the product and a checklist it’s easy, but could be done with any numbered parallel odds.
Example with 1/1:
Say you have a product that has base set 1/1 every 100 packs.
You have a base set off 100 cards.
So every 100 packs, you will pull one 1/1.
That means you need 100 1/1 x 100 cards to open the entire product, or 10,000 total packs.
If you had a card /99 that fell every 100 packs, and a base set of 100 cards, it’s just a bigger calculation.
100 packs x /99 cards per player x 100 cards in the set = 990,000 packs.

This is the one im tryng to figure out the print run. the meta rares are the toughest to pull based on pack odds... but im sure if if those have parallels either. So far as i've seen, only the base have parallels (gemstones)

Are any of those parallels numbered? I’m not familiar with the set.captainbohica wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 12:41 pm This is the one im tryng to figure out the print run. the meta rares are the toughest to pull based on pack odds... but im sure if if those have parallels either. the Base that have "Y" next to it in the 2nd pic have Gemstone parallels from /49, /25, /10, /5, and /1. the WhatNot break i joined and hit an Evil Ryu /49 on hit a couple of the other subsets (mini rare and culture shocks) EDIT: those were NOT numberedGeechQuest wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 1:29 pm Are any of those parallels numbered? If you add up all the gemstone combinations you get 90 total gemstones of each card. 52 cards have gemstone parallels. So with a gemstone being inserted at 1:13 packs it would take 60,840 packs to find all possible gemstones. There is 2 packs per box, so there is 30,420 of those boxes. But I don't know how many of the boxes are per case.
Are you trying to find the production number of the base cards? A non numbered insert?
