It’s also worth noting that Prodigy refractors do not green. Beauty of a set.

Thanks! Appreciate it! Thanks for starting this thread. Looking forward to more posts from you!AbraCalabro wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 1:04 pm Outstanding!!!
Great photos of great cards!!!
Toine Titanium and the Pierce Prodigy are my favorites.
Oh wow, didn't know that about the Prodigy refractors. Learning something new in this hobby everyday. Thanks for sharing that.darz90scardz wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 3:11 pm A couple of my favorite sets already highlighted here. Good ish.

Love the G. Hill - this is one of the most colorful sets out there and a joy to look at. I remember being disappointed when I got the Kemp and realized that it wasn't a dual layer card where the metallic / etched part was part of the back layer, like the EX-L cards.darz90scardz wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 7:52 pm Only have Penny left from this set. Love the contrast between the foil center and glossy border on these

Thanks dude! Enjoying your posts as well!
Those cards are groovy! Nice card. Great thing about Walker is that he's got so many amazing cards and they're fortunately not super expensive. I wonder if there are color variations from card to card on the Soul of the Game cards, i.e. 94/95 TSC Beam Team?
Wait a sec, aren’t they dual layered though? A couple months ago I took some pics comparing them to the Natural Born Thrillers because I thought they were basically the same template (and dope as hell together).AbraCalabro wrote: ↑Fri Dec 15, 2023 1:34 pmLove the G. Those are sick. I kinda regret selling my Tim Duncan one.darz90scardz wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 3:32 pmHere’s a set that I didn’t really appreciate until later on when I got one in hand…
Covid pump sale? If so I don’t blame you, I should’ve sold a LOT more stuff than I did. Could’ve bought nearly everything back with money to spare.FrankAZHP wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 5:29 pmThose are sick. Woah, nice! That's my favorite year of SP. I always liked that they made buybacks of those.darz90scardz wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 6:53 amCovid pump sale? I can’t remember if I posted this here before, but let’s just say I was happy with the BIN price.

lol, your thoughtfulness is appreciatedFrankAZHP wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2023 12:17 am Fun topic idea. Given I know AbraCalabro is not fond of 90s Topps I'll leave the Topps post for later and do everything but Topps for now. Mostly random embossed inserts I like enough to keep
1996-97 Fleer Flair Hardwood Leaders
I think these were 1 a pack, so they were easy, but they were clean.

100% Agreed and probably just as confusing for newcomers lol. Class 1, 2 and 3, Row 0,1,2, etc. But those are beauties, Dice was actually probably my third favorite player, Kemp, KG, Dice.mindcycle wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2023 11:56 am Great cards so far everyone! I’m going to throw in a couple I don’t think have been covered yet.
This is late 90’s, 99-00 to be exact, but greats cards and great set. This is the Topps Gold Label class 2 / red label parallel /50. There were three classes to these and even the base look great imo. Definite Flair Showcase vibes with the picture in picture design.

Those are neat. Certainly nicer than the Flair rookie set from that year, which had water inside the cards lol.Hondo wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2023 8:12 pmThose cards are groovy! Nice card. Yessir! Lot's of nice 90's Walker cards that don't break the bank. And As for The Soul Of The Game card, from what some buddies told me and minimal research LOL, there are different color variations from card to card.
Love all the Kemp cards you're posting. He was one of my favorite non-Celtics player to watch back in the day because the Mid 90's Celtics was awful.![]()
1997-98 Ultra Heir to the Throne
My #2 PC player of all time. I was chasing this in packs back in 1998. Ended up with it, but somehow over time part of the embossed paper on top rubbed off or peeled off on a sleeve or something (dunno). I'll eventually replace it, but it's too cool and won't leave the PC.
Man i remember pulling the Van Horn from a pack and was so excited that i just hot the jackpot!![]()
I want to add one of these soon. Does your copy have the dreaded finger print issue?darz90scardz wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 3:32 pm Wow, I completely forgot Heir to the Throne is embossed. For whatever reason I don’t think I’ve seen one of those in hand since release.
Here’s a set that I didn’t really appreciate until later on when I got one in hand…
