Thought Abra and Mindcycle might enjoy this "investment" article written by the guys from alt.

lmao

he is such a thieving piece of excrement

article summarized:

We dumped a ton of money into sports cards, so buy our wares, because tariffs! Help us drive up the value of the cards we dumped money into and got cheap! Spend spend spend!

-----------

Not once do they account for the handouts during the plandemic, not once do they account for shilling, or price fixing driving prices up artificially for over a decade now, not once do they account for investors protecting their investments through these means, it's a maintained artificially grown market.

Leore Avadar got called out for theft and fraud on the other forums and it's great to see that Rat Turner / PSA never did anything to go after this clown when he basically scammed PSA and stole from Artee.

We know this is just a fluff piece for their bull shit driven business. Thanks for sharing, got some entertainment out of it. I actually hope the tariffs kill this contrived market.

Oh man, this is rich..
Leore began strategically acquiring Kobe Bryant cards in 2016, using platforms like eBay to spot undervalued assets. A $15,000 investment grew into $15 million — not by luck but by data-driven strategy.
Where’s the part about him ripping off collectors to spot those “undervalued assets”. Just lol at that whole article. I wish BO hadn’t deleted the post about the whole Artee debacle. Money talks I guess..🤷‍♂️

Worry not, the thread lives on elsewhere, just in case. 8-)

Although one thing I should note before any one checks out the video, it's most likely the reason for my perma-ban on BO was PPP Wilson of SCI, the little cry baby beeyotch, more than any one else.

I'm not surprised at all. It amazes me even to this day that people think Turner is "One of us," or a "True collector / hobbyist," or apply any of these cozy terms to him. It was also amusing on BO when the news broke that he was in a leadership/ownership role over at PSA and there were some people rejoicing that he was going to 'fix' the hobby and make everything better again. He's into it for money and it's pitiable that grown men can't understand that. A shrewd business man doesn't have any concern for the enjoyment of others. Nat Turner's submitting cards to his own grading company and also complaining about the up-charge scam, then getting OK with the up-charge scam after he took over says everything any one will ever need to know about him. He and most, if not all the people in his circle appear to fill in the same archetype.

Didn't think you would be, just thought it was worth sharing.

That up-charge thread is great and it's nice to see it hasn't been hit by the blowout purge team, so far.

Definitely worth sharing, it's much appreciated. I honestly had no clue before hand.

I'm also surprised that that up-charge thread is still around, but as you said, "So far."

And people like this are the reason why the hobby is basically extinct.

Some more fun from Alt this week.

Alt files lawsuit against PWCC alleging fraud in Patrick Mahomes, Kobe Bryant card auctions

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/632346 ... rts-cards/

""“For years, customers around the world trusted PWCC’s assurances that when they made a bid on a sports card on their site, that those transactions were fair, transparent and free from manipulation — today’s complaint shows that those assurances were patently untrue,” Alt CEO Leore Avidar said in a statement to The Athletic. “PWCC’s leadership knowingly engaged in fraudulent practices, inflating auction prices and skewing the fair market value for the entire collecting community, including against one of its biggest competitors, Alt."

How funny would it be for who ever defenders PWCC in this lawsuit to request records of Leore's practices concerning his Alt browser plugin? Or how about inflating the price of cards he was trying to swindle out of a collector to get double refunds from eBay and PSA? Seems like there might be some fun discovery to have there..

We'll see how it goes, but it would be funny to see two scummy companies battle each other over who is the scummiest.
