Dwight Gooden Collection

Post by kingofsnake »

Hi all. I wanted to share my brother and my Doc Gooden collection.

Gooden Gallery

We grew up in Long Island big Mets fans and Doc was our favorite player. My first sports card memory was buying 1985 Topps wax packs from a stationery in Port Washington. Since 2002, they have produced a ton of Doc cards, but we try to restrict our collection to autographs, and only MLB-licensed and in Mets uniform.

Do any of you guys PC retired baseball guys? Would be glad to see your collections. Thanks for the look.

Great collection!
I was 15 when the Tampa Bay Devil Rays moved into town. When Wade Boggs signed on I remember it made it all seem legit. I enjoy collecting Boggs in Devil Rays uniforms to remind me of the time I was that kid.

Insane collection man! I love the site you have setup to display them all.

Going after autos only in later years is a great way to go about it. Trying to grab all cards of a player can definitely get out of hand lol.
Always looking for high end Nuggets cards, current players and Rare 90's/00's!
Player PC - Antonio McDyess, Danilo Gallinari, Gary Harris, Tim Duncan

Thanks, 23.dead and mindcycle. Thanks also for the nice comment about my website.

Yes, I find collecting Gooden cards much more relaxing than my endeavor with JJ. I can just pick and choose what to buy without stressing too much over missing out.
