Marvel Battle Spectra Gems & Precious Metal Gems

I saw this YT post comparing the two parallels. I thought it was a great review. Kudos to YTer @hobby_news_plus for the info. Personally, I’m a fan of the Battle Spectra Gems. One PMG the YTer left out was the multiple purple PMG sets that have been released throughout the years.

Here’s a 2020 Battle Spectra Gem that I have in my PC. Similar to the original PMGs, there’s a base version of this card without the foil background.

I have a modern purple PMG that I’ll have to find an image of to share. They are really dull and flat though. I’m not sure if the SP ones from higher end products look better.

And here’s a copy of a purple PMG. The foil is nice, but there’s no background to the card, so it lacks depth.

Yeah, I want to continue to research this set and learn more about it. They really have a PMG feel, and the art work is second to none.
