Tim Duncan Signs Exclusive Autograph Deal with Panini

Post by mindcycle »

Tim Duncan autograph cards are finally on the way thanks to an exclusive autograph agreement with Panini America.

It has been a long time since Tim Duncan has had any certified autograph cards. But that’s about to change. The Hall of Famer has signed an exclusive autograph deal with Panini that includes trading cards.

“I felt it was time to return to the industry so fans could get the chance to get cards with my signature,” Duncan said.

According to Panini, Duncan’s first signatures under the agreement are slated to arrive in February with 2023-24 Crown Royale. More will follow in 2023-24 Panini Impeccable.

Strange to see this in the final years of the Panini NBA cards license, but good move on their part. I’m just hoping they don’t flood the market with Duncan sticker autos but we’ll see.. If it’s more along the lines of what they did for Barkley I think it’ll be ok.
Always looking for high end Nuggets cards, current players and Rare 90's/00's!
Player PC - Antonio McDyess, Danilo Gallinari, Gary Harris, Tim Duncan

If this stays a limited run and the majority is on-card, I really like this move. It's too bad they won't be able to pair his auto with Wemby's (but that's probably part of the reason they got him in the first place).

This is neat. Hopefully they don't do a bunch of stickers like they did with some of their other past-era stars.
