Re: My Most Recent Baseball Pickups
Holy shit that Ryan is fire!
Chris, I suggest you rename this thread:
"A Rolling Mailday Thread (Baseball)" to match the other rolling mailday threads. I'll try to contribute here when possible, but I don't pick up much baseball in comparison to other sports.
I think that title would encourage people more to post their mail instead of thinking this is more of a personal thread since "My" is in the title as is.

Thrilled to add this to my collection. There's a couple of minor creases near the Ruth swatches, but they don't bother me and they were disclosed in the auction.

Didn't have a Pudge auto in my collection (well..Pudge Rodriguez, I have a Fisk) and saw this and basically checks off everything I'd want in a card. Early 00's Game Used and On Card Auto

From 2005 Absolute, 13/20, I love Tools of the Trade, and I love Lance Berkman, one of the first Astros players I remember in my life along with Biggio, Bagwell, and Nolan Ryan. That dirty batting glove piece is something
Collecting: Rockets Patches (especially 1995-2003 pinstripe jerseys) Astros Patches (especially stuff from 2004-2012), All Star Game Patches/Swatches, anything else interesting

Got this in today, Ginter X Silver Frame Minis are some of my favorite autographs. Saw the Griffey and had to have it!

Some really nice cards, ChrisP57. The Pujols was one of the cards that I wanted most. Great pick-ups all around.

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread (Baseball)
This is absolutely a Grail Pickup for me. Fleer Brilliants Gold Parallel are my favorite parallels of the 90s. The 24k ones are of course out of my price range, but even the numbered to 99 are pricey but I just love them. I have a Penny Hardaway in my collection but I've always wanted a Griffey. So when one popped up for auction last week, I had to win it. Very excited to have this card!
Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread (Baseball)
I love this card because of the uniqueness of it. Any Game Used Dimaggio card is awesome, but a game used Dimaggio card from his time as a coach with the Oakland A's is really cool and something you don't see everyday!

I am so stoked to add this to my collection. Absolutely love HOF patches and this one is absolutely stunning!
Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread (Baseball)
One of my favorite things to pickup is game used cards of HOF'er that don't have a lot out there. Here's a Johnny Evers Game Used Uniform card and a Frank "Home Run" Baker bat card
Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread (Baseball)
As a kid, this card was a HOLY GRAIL for me. I remember busting 1994 Collector's Choice baseball and never pulling a Gold Signature Parallel. I didn't care the auto wasn't real, it was such a cool looking card. I always wanted this card and finally picked it up. As a huge Griffey fan, this card is so awesome!
