Heard about the forum on the Stacking Slabs podcast. I’m a hockey collector but I’ve been getting into F1, mostly chrome 2022. I collect and list numbered parallels. I
Trying to complete the base set too. About two thirds of the way there. Nice to find a message board that talks about all kinds of cards.

Glad to have you here! I will admit that I know next to nothing about F1 cards, but there definitely looks to be a solid community forming around those. Would love to see some of your cards once you have some time to post.

YAY F1!

The video games back on the PS1 got me introduced, but my love didn't blossom big until the mid to late 2000s when I had internet access. Then I could stay up late to watch the races and I played a lot of the F1 games that came out in the early 2010s. When Topps Chrome announced they'd do F1 I was hyped! I was boycotting all Panini at the time (basketball & football collector whom still hasn't bought Panini wax since 2013) and was happy I could buy something new instead of getting all old singles. Prices of fresh wax was too high for me in 2020 and 2021 (and even now), but I've been picking up a lot of singles. Now I've got a decent stack of raw and PSA graded Chrome stuff. I finally picked up my first box of F1 Hobby (Got the 2022 Hobby box not the lite version) and haven't cracked it yet. I'll do it on camera for my channel at some point, but I'm patient for now.

I'll start a rolling mailday thread in this section like SHowley2003 did in the Basketball section and I did in the Football section. That way we can post what we've got when it comes in!

Thanks for the welcoming.
I grew up cheering for Jacques Villeneuve here in Montreal. Back then you couldn’t just record the races in the middle of the night…well I guess you could, but it was harder. Now we’re spoiled. I can watch the Australian Grand Prix when I wake up now.

I’m a chrome lite guy, hobby is too expensive for me. Lately I’ve been buying lots on whatnot. You never know what you’re gonna see, but once you start, you keep buying till you put together a nice lot.

I’ll post pictures when I figure out how. I heard it’s a bit of a pain. I like to collect but I’m always willing to sell at the right price, to get more. I leave them up on EBay and if I get a good price on buy it now I’ll sell.
