The Hobby Boards

Hey folks! I’m excited to join this nascent hobby gathering place and as a vintage enthusiast I thought I’d create a post dedicated to all things vintage. I’d love to see some mail days and spirited discussions about what cards and sets from the vintage era appeal to you!

Glad to have you here! I don't collect a ton of baseball but I do have some nice vintage stuff that i'll try to grab some photos of and throw up here soon.

Haven't bought a vintage Baseball card in a while - currently on a buying freeze ahead of The National - but speaking of The National, I'm hoping to add '33 Gehrig or a '54 Aaron or one of each at the show. But it will depend on if I see any I like for the price.

Vintage Baseball is my favorite thing to collect. I have slowly been working on the 1952 Topps set (about 20% done). I also love oddball cards from the pre-Topps era.

I’ll get some fun card images going with these monsters I picked up over the last month or so. Can’t go wrong with some Goudeys!
