A Rolling Mailday Thread (Football)

Post your recent football mailday pickups here!

I'll start with my favorite recent pickups. None are really valuable, but each is a cool piece of Football card history.

1995 Topps had box sets celebrating the Jaguars and Panthers Inaugural year with a Gold Foil Stamp. Each team's box set was limited to 4000 sets.
Here's the Barry Sanders I picked up:

Also I collect Pro Set errors and corrections, which is odd, but fun. I picked up the 3rd and final version of a 1990 Andre Rison card I needed to have all 3 slabbed.

2010 Topps Chrome Refractors are some of the best looking and shiniest IMO.
Picked up this low grade Brees on the cheap:

Also upgraded a PSA 8 Derrick Thomas RC from an 8 to a 9.
The 8 is now in my forsale/trade box.

Another cool pickup from a local card show. If he stays healthy he has a chance at a HoF spot.

Hopefully we can get some more Football people here on the forum as time goes on.

Here's some more recent pickups from me.

Classic Ottis Anderson RC
Image

Pair of HoFers in Topps Chrome base. I have the Aikman refractor graded and the Davis refractor raw already so this adds in nice.
Image Image

I've got two Printing Plates of this card already and a few graded. Added a Green refractor to the collection
Image

Only active WR who I think is guaranteed a HoF spot (should be 1st ballot too) in a 1000 Yard Club form which I love 1986-2015

Went to a card show yesterday and got a few $10 slab pickups.

Wilson is guaranteed HoF even if he had a bad year last year. Mills purchase is buying potential/speculation for now. At $10 I can't lose much on that risk.

Few recent pickups, as usual Topps/ToppsChrome.

DHop RC in 1969 Design (Love classic designs with new players)
Image

Julio 2nd Year Xfractor (This makes like my 24th different PSA Graded Topps Chrome Julio Jones card from 2011 rookie year to last year Topps in 2015)
Image

HoF 2010 Rickey Jackson (who has liked and shared to story multiple IG posts I've done of his cards)

Good stuff man! Yeah I see a lot of good deals on all the modern stuff that was graded during the boom. Mostly people just trying to unload I’d imagine but I’ll take it!

I’ve been buying graded cards of my basketball PC guys, Gary Harris, Danilo Gallinari. Can’t beat grabbing nice slabbed stuff for $10 or $15.

Got this one in this week, a rare need for the Ken Anderson PC.

Hell of a quad patch! I said it in the basketball mailday thread already but UD did jerseys right and I miss them.

Now that I know you collect Ken Anderson I'll keep an eye out on stuff. I've seen some oddballs and rare numbered stuff pop up sometimes. Ken should be a HoFer IMO.

Picked this up. Love that they gave Hamlin a rookie card this year. Color match over everything for me.

DHop is on my tier 2 of the football PC.

Jordy Nelson > DHop / AJ Green / Keenan Allen > Rodgers / other Packers.

For that second tier I’m focusing on rookies and gold Prizms and refractors.

All of those dudes are great players to collect and I've got quite a few of them.

Typically I don't post cards before I've shown them on my Mail Time videos on my YT channel, but thought this deserves a post.

Just a few DHops I've picked up besides the one above.

Recent pickups from the 2 card shows I went to on Saturday

Barry Sanders 89 rookie weiner style
Image

Elway PSA 8 is a replacement for my BGS 8 which now goes in my sale/trade box
Image

Tannehill Xfractor RC means I have a decent start on a completely unplanned graded rainbow since now I have 5 different variations of the card in PSA form.
base in PSA 9, refractor in PSA 9, black refractor PSA 8, orange refractor PSA 9, and now an xfractor PSA 9
Image

Generous gift from local (and THB member) @GabeyCardStacks that will go in my unopened pack collection:

Beautiful card!
Donruss/Leaf before Panini took over was a whole different beast and should be treasured.
