This is one of the gripes I have with Panini patches. I was looking at some Flawless patches today and even some of the lower numbered ones /5-/15 are regular foil. Like what's up with that? How are you giving me a patch /5 in a $5,000 box and skimping on the holofoil?

The patch game in this thread is next level recently
DUDE! Same here. Shit, unless it's a color match, the base color foils tend to suck ass. Even the gold / silver foils which are...whatever, kinda' cool.........there's NO HOLOFOIL, just an example of Panini getting cheap / lazy. They instead reserve the holofoils for the 1/1 most times and sometimes you'll get them on the gold stuff, wtf? Why -- what were they thinking with the green and red foils lol?
Yeah I mean I guess I get it on some level: you have to make the “better” stuff stand out? But that didn’t seem to be an issue in those 2000s releases where patch sets like your KG had lots of holofoil and multi color/break patches even numbered /75.
That's what I'm saying, your point stands strong because that is their high end stuff, Flawless, even Immaculate. I won't even touch most things that aren't holofoil unless it's something outstanding, like this patch:

Image

There are other versions of this card that I've seen recently and there is the typical fugly foil colors that don't match and the patches are also 'meh' and if you also look at stuff like Ultimate Premium Patch, 04, 05, 06 - all holofoil, numbered to 75, 50, 50 respectively...this card is numbered to 17...no holofoil lmaooooooooooooo.

Damn dude, now that's a first class ticket. Love these. They remind me of NBA phone cards from back in the day, that's actually a compliment to the card, love the AT&T phone cards.

This is a big one (for me anyways). I am putting together the 2012/13 Panini Silver Knight 300-card set and progress has slowed down significantly. There are a bunch of players that have no following, so they infrequently come up. The set is a bit obscure and not mainstream, so a lot of collectors don’t even realize they have a fairly short printed card so they get poorly titled when listed.

Anyway, in 13 years I have never seen the Kawhi Leonard pop up. I woke up last Saturday at 6:30AM to golf and I check my eBay saved searches and there it is. Only $15, and of course mislabeled as just the base version. I am very happy to add this to the set, I don’t know if I will ever complete it, but it has been fun to hunt these down one by one.

MAJOR addition in today

I saw these cards a couple years back, got annoyed at the photo and passed on a couple listings.

Then I saw deadshot got one.

Then I saw ChrisP57 get one.

Then this one got listed.

THEN I had to get one. So I did.

I know there's one on eBay still, but I'm on the prowl for more, let me know if you see one. Thanks besties.

Patch is juicier than Aria Giovanni's milk bladders.

Thank you sir! I had to get over the wrong photo being used, how often does an all star jersey patch card of your favorite player even get made? Glad to have this one in.

Got another card to show off, MJ quad 9.5 ----> I think I might be adding more slabs of my favorite base cards. If you guys have leads on other players other than MJ from this line in BGS 9.5, let a brother know!

P.S. sorry about the shit quality scan, this bad boy is going to get reslabbed soon, but I wanted to share - *tiny speck of dust in there and it's driving me NUTS.
