That's what I'm saying, your point stands strong because that is their high end stuff, Flawless, even Immaculate. I won't even touch most things that aren't holofoil unless it's something outstanding, like this patch:SacKingsCards wrote: Sun Jul 13, 2025 7:09 amYeah I mean I guess I get it on some level: you have to make the “better” stuff stand out? But that didn’t seem to be an issue in those 2000s releases where patch sets like your KG had lots of holofoil and multi color/break patches even numbered /75.AbraCalabro wrote: Fri Jul 11, 2025 5:57 pmDUDE! Same here. Shit, unless it's a color match, the base color foils tend to suck ass. Even the gold / silver foils which are...whatever, kinda' cool.........there's NO HOLOFOIL, just an example of Panini getting cheap / lazy. They instead reserve the holofoils for the 1/1 most times and sometimes you'll get them on the gold stuff, wtf? Why -- what were they thinking with the green and red foils lol?SacKingsCards wrote: Thu Jun 26, 2025 6:44 pm
This is one of the gripes I have with Panini patches. I was looking at some Flawless patches today and even some of the lower numbered ones /5-/15 are regular foil. Like what's up with that? How are you giving me a patch /5 in a $5,000 box and skimping on the holofoil?
The patch game in this thread is next level recently

There are other versions of this card that I've seen recently and there is the typical fugly foil colors that don't match and the patches are also 'meh' and if you also look at stuff like Ultimate Premium Patch, 04, 05, 06 - all holofoil, numbered to 75, 50, 50 respectively...this card is numbered to 17...no holofoil lmaooooooooooooo.
