Hell yeah that's juicy. I miss pre-2016 patches. I still haven't been able to take the plunge into unlicensed.

I got these in last week:

Some notes:
Working on the 88 Fleer 02-03 SPGU Jersey auto sets. And donruss lasers are those parallels that I will add any time I see them because they're so gorgeous.

And my biggest basketball purchase to date. Black Velocities are my favorite parallel in Optic. I decided to consolidate some of my Luka rookies to pick this up

Huge thanks to Deadshot for snagging this off COMC and then relisting it for me. One of those cards that I didn't think I'd ever check off my list. Rumor is Harrison maybe didn't sign all 225 copies, or some were possibly destroyed. I can't really remember the story at this point. All I know is that I've seen a total of 3 copies (including this one) of this card in the past 5 years. The last one that sold on ebay went for over $600 at auction.

This is great stuff dude. The Revolutions and jumbo patches are insane. Thanks for sharing and cool to see ya posting on YouTube; I just started as well because I think building a basketball card community on YouTube could be really fun.

dude............major congratulations are in order - holy shit, what a fucking ICON. This card is straight up mythical out of the 90s. How bold / crisp is that auto? It's the FULL auto too, not the more condensed one that came later.

Okay I wasn't sure if it was just me, so Abra's response, especially to that auto confirms to me the insanity of your addition. Congrats on the Penny! Certainly an absolutely beautiful card, love the diecut and the auto is great. Were those buybacks inserted into a later product? Or were they simply hand numbered and inserted into that year of SPx(?)?

Thought I'd follow @Hornso's lead and post a larger mailday on YouTube. Mostly from DCSports87.

Been a good while since I've added a Penny to my PC. This is one I've always wanted and saw it come up for auction and had to get it

Hands down my favorite Penny in my collection

Amazing card, and I can't imagine that is easy or cheap to find in a 9. Huge!

^ Chris, you already know how I feel about that card (and set). Incredible grade on top of it. Congrats.

and thanks Abra and Sac. I thought you guys would find this interesting too, because I had no idea they came in pouches. Even the seal on the certificate of authenticity envelope appears to have never been broken.

Cards like this are right up my alley when it comes to picking up game used cards. I don't think there's a ton of Kareem game used cards from his Bucks days, almost all of them are from his Lakers days, so I saw this card and definitely had to pick it up

That is way too cool. Imagine that level of attention to detail being given to cards today! So when you say they arrived in pouches, does that mean this card wasn't inserted in packs? Was it some sort of redemption system where this is what was sent to collectors after redeeming the card?

Yea, you couldn't get these (or redemptions for them) from packs.
The only Penny redemption you could hit from 1996 spx was for the base auto. Tribute autos were only from the UD store.

Yeah they hooked up UDA items pretty lovely, I know with my Kemp stuff, both the UDA standard size cards and the 8x10 stuff, you got some nice bonuses. Obviously the COA, but they came in boxes, for the 8x10s they came in photo binders with a single pocket for the 8x10 to go into - and if I remember correctly the Kemp SPx buyback also came in one of those huge 4 screw holders. You got yourself such a great find, because the WHOLE thing is preserved and intact.

Like I said in email, I would still remove it from the 4screw though.

LOVE this video dude, I like seeing stuff like this. How easy is it to put up a video? I have been thinking of doing videos for my PC, but I'm so technically behind, I don't know how to even do this.

Today I got this from China. Unfortunatly a minor pressed in place on the lower left side. Some mm big. Nothing big but it is still there. But this card is so rare, I think it must be ok.

Gotta' think about it, I've been there. Kinda' feels like sacrilege when the entire presentation is complete and so well preserved. I still did it anyway because I did not want that auto touching any hard surface, but I tend to OCD HARD.

Great stuff all across the board, I especially like those Encore FX /125s and the X-Fractor Duncan. Cool to see Dice in a Spurs jersey, not too many cards like that out there.

So here's my latest, I've picked up select cards from this set before, but I think the Row 1s look phenomenal for 98/99.
