More cheap low end / junkwax slab pickups from a recent card show for the PC.
1990-91 Fleer
Adding these three makes 14 HoFers of my 16 slabbed 1990-91 Fleer cards (others are RCs of Kemp & Glen Rice)
2018-19 Donruss Optic Purple
This was part of a trade so I'll stick it in the PC for now but may offload it later depending on what he does in the future. He's been playing well though it's clear he's not an All-NBA Team player.
2022-23 Panini Flux Fluid
Another card that was part of a trade. This won't go into the PC, will go in my sell/trade box as I'm not a Flux guy.

Panini Elite has been doing it the past 4 releases. My favorite Panini Elite Lenticular set has to be the "Titlist" where players who won a championship pose with the Larry O' B in one image then an action shot in another image. Pretty cool.
Damn I had no clue lol, but I haven't been paying much attention either. I remember when I first saw lenticular stuff, was absolutely mind blowing. Cool that they're doing it for the modern era.

Happy to help man, glad you were able to work something out with him. Those are all awesome, it's a parallel I'm glad to have had in hand in recent years. Wasn't able to fully appreciate them at release, only really saw them in mags. I almost want the Top Flight Penny as much as the F/X... almost.
Horizontal cards kick ass.
That IS a tough one, because the Penny photography for his card from that year is amazing. Man I don't know which one I'd go for.

Another card show another haul.
I was a dealer at a show sharing a table with a friend and a kid came by trying to offload some things. The only thing I was interested in was this Ant Optic Holo insert.
He wanted $20 and I wanted to give him $15 and he countered with $18. I just gave him the $20 and considered it a $5 donation to a kid lol
Also, I really like oddball weird knick knack stuff as I'm sure you guys have seen on some of my posts. This fits the bill.
2006 Wincraft Acrylic Stand of Shaq Diesel. I know you can't tell by the photo, but it's like 8-10 inches tall

I've been meaning to get more active on here but I've just been unable to break my normal daily routines. Gonna work on adding the board to my routine because I honestly miss the message board days. Opened up the site and this is the first thread I saw so I figured it would be the perfect place to post this. Received it in the mail a few days ago.
Usually don’t post until the card is in hand but I’m excited for this one

This was a fun purchase because it prompted me to learn more about Japanese Menko cards. Apparently, these were part of a game that's kinda like Pogs, but not exactly the same. With Pogs, you were supposed to stack them up and hit them with a slammer and then collect all the pieces that had flipped over. Well, with this game, you kind of throw the pieces on top of the other ones that are spread out, with the hopes of flipping them over. And similar to Pogs, you can play for keeps.
It's pretty shocking to me that they made one for George Mikan, seeing as the subject matter generally reflected pop culture at the time. As you might imagine, there were a lot of cartoon characters. I've also read there were a lot of planes and tanks around the time of the second World War. And yet, Mikan was featured as part of this game in Japan at a time when pro basketball wasn't even popular in the States. That's pretty remarkable to me.

With the Pacers pretty much cornering the market on players from this draft class, I've nearly completed a "team set" of these Cracked Ice autos from 2020-21 Contenders Draft Picks. This Obi is my most recent addition.

Great card! I’m going to try to be a more active on here as well as promoting the boards a bit more myself. Real life does catch up to you, summers are always busy for me, and sad to say sometimes it can be a bit easier to jump on IG to post something.
I’ve been enjoying all the recent posts and have a few new plugins to add to the boards that I’ll be rolling out over the next few weeks.

Another show another haul.
More HoFers for the 1990-91 Fleer slab collection.
I now have 16 of the 33 HoFers in the junkwax set slabbed PSA 7 to PSA 10.
$10 PSA 10 Optic of a future HoFer:
And I got 2 boxes of the newest OTE Topps Chrome. One will be stashed in my unopened Chrome wax collection and the other I'll do a VS video for.

It's been a while since I've added a Luka to my collection but this is one that has been on top of my wantlist for a while now. It's not expensive or rare, it's the Yellow Flood Donruss Rated Rookie. Found in Dollar Tree packs. I've just always liked the look of it

"St00piD fukin cArd" -Paggo McSpaggo, in the year of our Lord 2024.
Just in, this one took me a longgggggggg time to find a non-print-line-afflicted copy. It didn't help that the seldom clean copies I've seen were wildly overpriced. I would've probably missed it too if it weren't for a fellow Penny collector on IG.

Looooooooool. Never saw this. It’s perfect how he probably just pulled that name out of his ass.
Another Facebook find. Didn’t intend to go after another Spectrum but I couldn’t pass it up for the price.
