Nice! Just picked up the Payton Pritchard from that same Noir set too! Can't wait to have it on hand. Forgot Pritchard and Hali were both on the same draft class.
The C's had the 14th pick that year and was really hoping Hali falls on our laps before you guys picked him at 12. Instead we got Aaron Nesmith at 14.

Absolutely thrilled to add this to my PC. There's just something about Late 90's era UD Jersey Cards that still seem special to me after all these years.

Pritchard has been incredible off the C's bench this season and seeing him continue grow his game has been fun to watch. This is now easily my favorite Pritchard card.

Big Al is the man. As a Celtic fan i couldn't appreciate him enough. Love the guy.

And a Jojo White auto. Love this set.

Love this. Nowadays most plain jane jersey cards are so crap that they're called napkins. UD just knew how to do it.

The Pink background works really well with the purple Kings color theme. The Crusade is SWEET!

Damn, what a great photo, super aesthetic card. The colors just work on this and they got a fantastic action shot. The "grainy" aspect of the photo framed by the gold borders sets it off.

Speaking of borders and aesthetics, perfect example with the Admiral. Great card.

Same with these guys, I think I got them in a few weeks back, if not a little longer. Some SPx Finite Spectrum goodness.

I never noticed how Penny is in the Muggsy shot.

That's what I love so much about it, recognizable players in the background, that happens a lot with this particular set. It's a thing of beauty, also this card gives you a sense of scale, puts you right into the middle of the action.

I'm not building the sets, just picking up select cards, although...I think I might be inching toward a third of the set being complete lol.

Nice! It's an interesting little set, namely being metal framed. My second metal framed card. It's kind of nice because obviously edges and corners can't bend or ding. I get the Haliburton pain  I vividly remember being at my brother's house celebrating Haliburton's selection in 2020; I'm not an anti-trade fan, but I certainly will never not be disappointed he's not a Sacramento King anymore.

Pritchard has been killing it though as a nice little find for Boston from that draft though!

Love that UD jersey! I completely agree about those game jerseys from the late 90s. They just have a vibe of a memorabilia card being significant rather than the afterthoughts many of them are today. Nice Caitlin Clark too, sweet diecut.

Beautiful cards! I really appreciate seeing the additions of role players in your collection. I love picking up cards of guys that as a team fan/collector I appreciate more than the masses.

That's a pretty card. Is it weird that its design reminds me of Panini One and One with the framing border and accompanying design elements? Kind of ironic due to the difference in product "tier".

Thanks man, I do like pink cards with the purple Kings colors. I think that's second only to greens for me as a color combo. I'm actually pursuing the Crusade rainbow, not sure if you've seen in the discord. Absolutely love how vibrant the colors are.

I guess we're on the same page about the one and one and topps gold similarities. I feel like there's something significant in that observation haha

I can't believe with all your beautiful SPx and electric gold stuff that you're not even at a third of the set. I'd have thought you were close-ish (at least half?) to finishing it!

Going to keep imbuing some 2000s life into this. Most of mail days from the past week and half.

2000-01 Upper Deck UD Gold Reserve /100 - suprised at the decent condition on a random low #'d 20 year old card
Image

2004-05 Bowman Draft Picks & Stars Black Autograph Plate - I've left plenty of plates slide, but with an Auto it was enough to tempt me to win. I also have been working on the Bowman series recently. Good timing means a higher bid from me.
Image

2005-06 Topps Finest Black Refractor /19 - I continue to be surprised how much cheaper these rarer refractors are than their gold counterparts. Filling out Finest rainbows are also on the soft to buy list.
Image

2005-06 Topps Pristine Die Cut /50 - Doesn't fit much in terms of current collecting focus, but hard to pass up. Lost one from Probstein only to pick up one out of Canada for cheaper. Goes well with the uncirculated base I recently grabbed.

Great Odom additions! Really like that UD Gold Reserve. I know a print run of 100 isn't the rarest, but from 00-01, that's still really tough to find and not likely to show up a ton. I really like pre-2003 numbered cards.

Thank you! Thats the type of card that led me to Odom over some more heavily collected guys and the likes of Kobe. I enjoy filling boxes and binders too much for my wallet to stomach a major star or even guys like Artest/Pau that have more competition on the PC.

Yeah, I quit building lol. The SPx Finite stuff can get pricey, so I'm only making select purchases and same for the Electric Court Gold stuff. I should add, that the EC Gold set is 360 cards lol, definitely don't want to build that in this modern era, same with the Finite Spectrum set. I think by the time I get all the EC Golds I want, I'd have 1/3rd of the set, but beyond that won't be picking up more cards from the set (most likely), want to stay focused.

I have a soft spot for cutout windows like that. Nice card! Feels like one of those jerseys you could dig up the provenance on.

Love the Pierce patch. "Clean" as hell.

So this is officially my first FB purchase. I meant to get this 10 years ago when I got back into cards, have only had his 93-94 Beam Team.
Better late than never I guess. For the 92-93, I wanted a copy with near perfect L/R centering.

^That's really cool Darz. Seeing all the cool 90's cards you and Abra keep posting makes me wish the Celtics were better in the 90's so that more C's guys would be included in all the cool 90's cards like this set. I imagine this looks great in hand with different light angles.

That's a sad truth about the Celts in the 90s. I imagine 'Toine has to be your best bet for being in most of the nicer insert sets of the era?

Good call on that centering. You should get that bad boy into a BGS slab lol, it's too good to be in a psa slab. Anyway, what a dynamite photo on that one! I wonder if that's from the Suns / Bulls Finals match up.

Have to agree with Darz on his reply to this post, once 'Toine and Ron Mercer were playing for the Celts they had some pretty sick cards. Can't go wrong with the Row 0 Legacy Collection cards for each of those guys. The 96/97 Row 2 Legacy for 'Toine is also a standout card. Other than those two you're probably looking at Dominique Wilkins or The X Man. I think they were also making Larry Bird stuff until 93/94, I know he has a Finest Refractor from that year, but they're all discolored unfortunately.

Forgot to post these up. Nothing to write home about, but the holofoil really pops and the medley of colors in the background shapes brings everything together.
