Pulled this Hit yesterday from 1 Pack "Elite 2021/22". Numbered 10/10. Not bad at all. Is for trade against Duncan or Bryant Reeves.

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread (Basketball)
About a month ago I was at a card show in Phoenix doing a walkthru video and heard a familiar voice talking to a dealer so I tapped him on the shoulder and asked "Did you have a nickname in high school?" and the dude turned around and said "I know you!". Turns out it was a dude I used to hang out with and trade basketball and football cards with all the time back in the early 2000s. The last time we traded was in roughly 2003. So yeah, reconnected with a friend whom we last saw each other literally 20 years ago.
Well he came over yesterday with a bunch of stuff for trade and went thru my sell/trade boxes and picked stuff out. We spent like 10 hours watching NBA games, going thru cards, and catching up. We worked out a few trades of a bunch of raw stuff, but this is the key basketball pickup for me.
I guess it's an SSP. Not numbered. But these aren't cheap.
Happy to have it.

The Lillard is cool, but I think I'm more jealous of the 10 hours of watching NBA and trading cards!

Got this monster in recently:

Also got these beauties in. I'm looking to add the Penny, Malone and Payton All NBA parallels, Hill, Kidd, Eddie Jones, Donyell Marshall All Rookie Team parallels also, as well as the Jason Kidd base parallel.

This was a KSA 8.5 that converted to a PSA 10.
At one time, this card was worth grading, now not so much but its still a really cool card with a nice memory attached to it.

Abra, are you talking about card #170 for the Penny?
Probably missed it but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a copy of that EC Gold up for sale.

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread (Basketball)
SUp dude, yeah that's the one. Also just realized I need the Penny Team USA Electric Gold parallel. I think I'm going to do the All NBA, All Rookie Team and Team USA subsets. Might do a select handful of cards from the base and other sub sets, but I have almost everything I was looking for, including the MJ base parallel.

There's an electric court gold of the Team USA one in a PSA 8, but the seller wants a mind warping 300 dollars just because it's in a piece of sh!t PSA slab.

Been behind on filming and photographing my pickups. Got this at a show the week before last. This young fellow has impressed me, and it was pretty cheap (under $20)

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread (Basketball)
My last mailday of the year. Maybe I will get another card on a cardshow in december but I think I am done for this year.
Michael Jordan Fleer Ultra 1995/96 Gold Medaillon. Just 1 to 2 cards to go for the complete set.

Mailday for my two main PC's.
First up, I love Obsidian parallels, and got my first Clippers card of Russ. The Blue Floods are absolutely stunning

and I had to get this Penny for the PC. A reminder of his last hurrah. Reunited with Shaq in Miami for a brief team. This is his 2007-08 Topps Chrome White Refractor numbered to 99

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread (Basketball)
Beautiful card. I always felt Ultra did the first year doing Gold parallels right with the entire thing except the player being gold. I felt the next few years were a step back (even with the Platinum versions). I'm sure those first year golds are crazy condition sensitive nowadays too.Duncancollector wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 3:41 pm My last mailday of the year. Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread (Basketball)
A few years back I got a pretty awesome MJ lot that included the gold medallion base and a bunch of his gold medallion insert parallels, all in binder pages. Sold most of them but that was fun getting in the mail.
Ultra is my favorite overall product of the decade, but I still maintain 95-96 was their worst year. The only 2 sets I like are the base gold meds and Rising Stars.

I love a lot of the Die Cut Insert sets from 90's Topps. This is one of my favorite sets and finally picked up an MJ

Looking for the Duncan version if anyone sees one
Awesome!! Black Refractors are nice!
Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread (Basketball)
I don't normally get steals, but I believe I got one with this card. I put my bid in and was very surprised I won this for $89. I didn't pay attention to the title at the time, but I think I know why I won this for so low. It was listed as a PSA 7.

A good friend of mine copped this for me while I found him some Optic Ja Morant for his rainbow. We're both chasing Optic rainbows and helping each other out!

Big Jordan pickup for me. Been wanting a Jordan Bulls Patch for a while but most are out of my reach. Felt like I got this one at a decent price!

Great Jordan patch card! Is the patch from a Bulls jersey or does it say?
Always looking for high end Nuggets cards, current players and Rare 90's/00's!

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread (Basketball)
There are some SOLID pickups on this page!
Love these first year black refractors! I only have the Mitch Richmond for my PC, but back in the day I pulled the Gerald Wallace rookie out of a retail pack. Don't remember what I got for it, but it "booked" at like $120 at one point.
Generations are so nice! Cool to see you got the GOAT.
Wow a gold! That's so nice! Solid deal too!ChrisP57 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 10, 2023 4:06 pm I don't normally get steals, but I believe I got one with this card.
