Expensive but about what I expected. When you consider 2023/24 Prizm was about $1000 out the gate and only guaranteed 2 autos, it seems like Topps may have left some money on the table.

I will be sticking to singles for this release, however. I should be able to grab some awesome cards for the price of a jumbo. The MVP buyback program will be fun, as well. This season is off to a great start with multiple players looking like they will make a strong push. That will help people breaking, there should be significant speculation around Luka, Jokic, SGA, so their base and refractors will have a nice bump.
I probably missed something, so you'll have to excuse me, but $1000 is for...a box? One box?

It's far from the days of the late 2000s and early 2010s when you could get 1 hobby box with 1 guaranteed auto for $90 at the LCS. And to be fair, I don't blame Panini or Topps for charging what they charge, because it's what people are willing to pay! Of course I'm not "people" and won't be buying any sealed product. I'm far beyond the desire to rip packs and I just buy singles nowadays, so I'm excited for the product, but not because I'll be cracking wax.

Considering you can get HoF Gold /50 Chrome autos for $30-$120 each. I'd rather just buy 7-12 of those with $1k
