The Kobe Team Finest Blue ref / Gameday Warp Tek, Pierce Prodigy ref / ud black auto, Iverson Rave / Prime Twine, Reggie Scripted Swatch, Duncan 97-98 Jamb / Finest Moments auto, and Odom Red Label are my favorites. Incredible.

Last night I watched Kyle's Reggie Miller honorable mentions so it made me want to post my own for Penny.


This thread turned into an interesting exercise because I've never really tried ranking pc cards like this. And like Kyle mentioned, some of the following easily cracks my top 10 depending on the day.
I did my best to put these in order like my top 10. Again, interchangeable. #11 is cool because Abra himself tipped me off to the listing a while ago. I couldn't care less about "special" serial numbering, or even numbering in general, but it just happened to be the last in the run.

2. Stadium Club 2002/03 All Star Coverage Autograph /25. TSC is my all time most favorite Brand. Not spectecular but I am a fan. This card is rare as well and the design is simple and just beautiful.

10.> Part of a complete All Star Patch set... not the biggest fan of the Red border but love the set overall. Always enjoyed Timeless Treasures and wish it hadn't vanished.


9.> This card is just pretty... the design is nice, the shine is quality and the Patch has a hidden sliver of Blue that ya cant see in the photo for 3 colors! and apparently on TCDB it's listed as Panini Prestige Premium...?


8.> Can ya ever really go wrong with a Galactic? COLOR MATCH!!!


7.> i don't have enthusiasm to chase this entire set but random singles will definitely be purchased... horizontal cards are where its at ya'll... oh yeah, and specific game dated patches, those are cool too.


6.> always wanted one of the "glass" cards theyre hard as heck to photograph and what the hell is that case it's in... BOOOO slabs, BOOOOOO!


5.> Pretty rare card... a mix of the Fleer Avant art cards and the Materialistic cards from Fleer Focus. Numbered to 50. that purple foil takes me back to the Masterpiece cards... pretty canvas border that gets beat up REAL easy...


4.> also from a complete set... one of the best rookie classes ever. Beautiful cards that were redemption only. Even the Redemptions were gorgeous. Underrated Rookie of Big Germ for sure.


3.> Big Blue Swatch, Horizontal Card and a big ole' Autograph? sign me up. The Colossal Cards were one of the rare sets that Panini issued several years and actually changed up the design. I really liked this version. i wish i was rich enough to afford the one with a patch.


2.> Revolution autos when they were all on-card! from a complete set, this Cubic Auto/50 took an already beatiful base auto design and upped it everso slightly with the fractured shine.


1.> im so friggin happy i discovered this set... it's not so slowly just becoming my favorite card set ever made... I'm chasing the entire 90 card set but this Caveman Dirk is definitely a high point

I will respectfully disagree; that is a pretty massive top 10.

10. Totally agree about Timeless Treasures. It was one of Panini's really subtly elegant sets in their first few years making NBA cards. Lots of beautiful designs and themes.
9. Beautiful patch, you did a great job capturing the foil. 14-15 Prestige was so confusing. There were 100 card Plus boxes and 60 card Premium boxes with different configurations and I believe different base cards and parallels coming out of each with different finishes. I suppose your patch was found in a premium box. Not sure, but I don't think there was a Plus versions of that set. Again, I'm not sure.
7. Ahh, love me a game dated patch. Dirk is one of the only three I need left for the 15-16 Preferred Statline Set
2,3. Those two autos are GREAT! That is one of my favorite Colossal sets with the huge memorabilia window and that blue auto that goes so well with all the blue Mavs accents on there. Same applies with the beautiful blue foil on the revolution, which thank goodness isn't full of lines and angles.

Here’s my Top 10 Tony Parker cards.

Very pretty Donruss Elite diecut; I think it was great that they brought that product and the diecuts back with it.
You have incredible taste in memorabilia cards. I absolutely love the significance of a finals worn card ala the game dated patches, which you also have. But the tag, the Flawless, exquisite, chunky NT 1/1. Man, the mem cards on their own are mind blowing.
Great job photographing the kaleidoscope, I find it really hard to fully capture that effect. That one sticks out to me being from a product that had a short run with a 1/1 parallel/design that I can't recall seeing in any other set.
Top notch autos as well, I do love the old select on card autos. Very sad those are a thing of the past. And it's always nice to collect a player that can have meaningful multi-autos like the dual with Manu. I wonder if we'll see a Parker/Duncan dual now that Timmy is signing again.

Going to do my next player, Lebron James. I feel like I have a ton of worthy candidates, since I love most of the rookie cards I have of him, but I cut down to 5 honorable mentions and the top 10. First up Honorable Mentions in no particular order

2003-04 UD Top Prospects School Colors BGS 8.5



I'm not trying to pump this, but I really do think this is an underrated card from Lebron's rookie year. It's his first ever memorabilia card and it features a pretty nice sized swatch of a high school jersey worn by Lebron. There's other issued high school jerseys, but it's still a unique card compared to the millions of game used pro jersey cards out there

2013-14 Panini Prizm Blue PSA 9


I just think this card really pops. The Blues were Wal Mart exclusives.

2003-04 Upper Deck Future All Star Die Cut PSA 8


I really struggled with leaving this off. I LOVE this set and the original 1993-94 set which had Penny. I just happen to love 10 cards more than this

2021-22 Panini Immaculate Lebron James Patch Gold Parallel (#3/10)


I didn't want to dominate my Top 10 with Game Used Cards so this one barely misses the cut. It's my only Lakers game used card and it's a patch

2018-19 Panini Obsidian Vitreous


I think the original Vitreous insert from 2018-19 Obsidian are super underrated as well. Unlike the years after this, these are pretty tough to find and look just gorgeous. A very tough one to leave off the top 10

10-2022-23 Panini Donruss Optic Black Velocity Holo Prizm(#29/39)



As far as Optic Parallels go, Black Velocity are my absolute favorites so had to put the Lebron I have on this list

9- 2022-23 Panini Obsidian Blue Flood (#13/16)



To me ALL Flood parallels in Obsidian are gorgeous. This Blue one REALLY pops and is numbered to only 16 copies as well

8-2018-19 Panini Donruss Optic Purple Stars Holo Prizm (#5/13)


I pulled this myself out of a FOTL box (when those were AFFORDABLE), it's low numbered, and it's a Lakers color match. Great looking card

7-2016-17 Panini Donruss Optic Preview PSA 9


These are NOT easy cards to find as they were inserted in regular Donruss boxes

6-2007-08 UD Ultimate Collection Ultimate Quad Materials Patch with Dwyane Wade, Dwight Howard, and Brandon Roy PSA 7 (#1/5)


Just an amazing card from Lebron's first stint in Cleveland. It's the only game used Cavs card I have from his 1st go around, I love it's a patch from an older Cavs jersey. The other 3 players aren't too shabby, and people forget just how good Brandon Roy was before injuries derailed his career

5-2015-16 Panini Preferred Finals Booklet Game Worn FInals Jersey (#73/99)



Not only is it tied to a specific game, it's tied to a NBA FINALS game which makes it that much sweeter. This has a giant swatch of a jersey Lebron wore in Game 4 of the 2015 NBA Finals. Only a patch would be sweeter.

4-2003-04 Fleer Ultra Lucky 13 RC BGS 9 (#269/500)


Another rookie card I feel is underrated. Numbered to only 500 copies, you see the unnumbered Hummer and even the Gold Medallion parallel all the time. This one is a little tougher to come by

3-2015-16 Panini Immaculate Jersey Numbers Patch #8/24



First of all, the numbering is ironic..it's both of Kobe's jersey numbers. But this is a HUGE jersey patch and hands down my best Lebron Game Used card in my collection

There's no way this can't be on the list. It's not a difficult card to obtain at all, but it's THE Lebron base rookie to own. I've had it in my collection pre pandemic so I never paid the crazy prices they got to thankfully. A must have in a Lebron Collection

Hands down the #1 Lebron in my collection and it's not even close. A beautiful, popular rookie parallel. One of my favorite cards in my entire collection, period

SICK top 10!!! These are my favorites for sure. The Finest Moments and the TSC All Star Coverage are quite nice. The Nameplates is great because cards you pull yourself are the best. Still have my Penny 96/97 Row 0 from all those years back.

SICK top 10!!! These are my favorites for sure. The Finest Moments and the TSC All Star Coverage are quite nice. The Nameplates is great because cards you pull yourself are the best. Still have my Penny 96/97 Row 0 from all those years back.

3.> Big Blue Swatch, Horizontal Card and a big ole' Autograph? sign me up. The Colossal Cards were one of the rare sets that Panini issued several years and actually changed up the design. I really liked this version. i wish i was rich enough to afford the one with a patch.

Going to do my next player, Lebron James. I feel like I have a ton of worthy candidates, since I love most of the rookie cards I have of him, but I cut down to 5 honorable mentions and the top 10. First up Honorable Mentions in no particular order

I'm not trying to pump this, but I really do think this is an underrated card from Lebron's rookie year. It's his first ever memorabilia card and it features a pretty nice sized swatch of a high school jersey worn by Lebron. There's other issued high school jerseys, but it's still a unique card compared to the millions of game used pro jersey cards out there

I just think this card really pops. The Blues were Wal Mart exclusives.

5-2015-16 Panini Preferred Finals Booklet Game Worn FInals Jersey (#73/99)



Not only is it tied to a specific game, it's tied to a NBA FINALS game which makes it that much sweeter. This has a giant swatch of a jersey Lebron wore in Game 4 of the 2015 NBA Finals. Only a patch would be sweeter.

3-2015-16 Panini Immaculate Jersey Numbers Patch #8/24



First of all, the numbering is ironic..it's both of Kobe's jersey numbers. But this is a HUGE jersey patch and hands down my best Lebron Game Used card in my collection

2-2003-04 Topps Chrome RC


There's no way this can't be on the list. It's not a difficult card to obtain at all, but it's THE Lebron base rookie to own. I've had it in my collection pre pandemic so I never paid the crazy prices they got to thankfully. A must have in a Lebron Collection

Another incredible collection of an all time great player. These are my favorites; the all star and the chrome just because of their "significance" in the history of the hobby. I know the All Star Die Cut on its own might not necessarily be that significant, but the set it commemorates of someone as significant as LBJ is cool. The Prizm blue is just so vibrant, I added a Cousins from that set recently and it is really a beautiful parallel.

What takes the cake though is the GU cards. That Finals jersey?? So historic, just like the Parker Nabroleon shared. and that Immaculate is just my favorite card of the bunch by far. A game used card like that of LeBron is a dream.

I'm slowly chasing this set...doubt I'll ever finish it. Not too aggressive about it either. But try to pick them up when I see them. Thankfully I got an early start with a few of the tougher ones.
