I've been eyeing this binder on Amazon since it's D ring and 1.5 inch size instead of the 1 inch size of the Z-Binder LX. So it should hold the 28-30 pages I was hoping for and still has a zipper and such.
Will probably pick up soon and will report my findings.
All of this me picking up a binder thing for a particular project I haven't shown to anyone is because of @mindcycle and @deadshot
Will be fun to do a binder again. Can't wait to show everyone the results too!

Mentioned I had to take down my wall displays recently, so I’ve had a lot of my nicer stuff just sitting in what was essentially a shoebox.
Asked around BO for some case suggestions, wound up going with a cheap Amazon option. Looks great but I wouldn’t trust it if you plan on traveling with it frequently.

You're ready to flip some cards on the floor at the entrance of the National the year!
But in all seriousness , that's a nice looking case and good price too. Thanks for the share.

Okay it's a super shitty pic, but you get the idea. I can take a better pic tomorrow, or later this week if any one would like. Freaking thing is amazing.
Crazy to think that's the majority of my left over Kemp stuff that I'm keeping ALL in one case, down from basically having ALL his cards.

Yeah, nice looking case Abra. Are there "slots" for those three cards that are laid out? Would be a pretty cool way to quasi-display your cards in the case and rotate through them as you please. Does it come with slots to store your mags? Sorry, I'm completely clueless. I still have everything too thick for binders and zfolios in a cardboard boxes

Nice case. I have a feeling it’s built a little better than my Cheng Fu from Amazon
Thanks boss, I saw that Cheng Fu case, what you selling? How much you want? You got any PSA GEMS in there?
Seriously though, like and subscribe.
But seriously, I highly recommend one of these, if you've got a Harbor Freight nearby, it's worth checking them out!

Hey dude, thank you. There are no pre-determined slots, it's got two layers of foam that you can pluck apart for a custom fit. Right now I have two rows and I have two "receptacles" in order to store the cards flat on top of each other. The embedded video gives you a better idea of how it can be customized. You can pick apart the foam in single cells, or in blocks, which is what I did, because with the blocks, you can just plop them back in there, if for any reason you remove some cards, you can put the foam blocks back in and not have any cards in that same row, or storage section moving around...if that makes any sense.
Thanks for sharing those videos, gives a great look at how these work. Awesome use to make a display slot or two. I'll have to think about picking something like this up, but I'm a cheap man and cardboard boxes will likely suffice
As the skipper (MindCycle) knows, I am 100% a “Binder guy.” It just makes for much more satisfying viewing. The cards stay in much better shape than is said “on the streets,” though of course nothing beats graded/Mag’d protection. Just takes the fun out of it for me.
I collect all “good baseball players” since 1970 on EVERY team they ever played on— and I try and find the coolest ones (many players I have more than one page too). They are “good” if they meet one of these statistical thresholds: 100 HR, 1000 hits, 200 SB, 100 wins, 1000 Ks, 100 saves. I have about 25 more retired player pages left to complete and I am in the long process of doing an “accounting” of the quantity I have of each.
I have 49 Baseball card binders: 33 Alphabetized A-Z (1970-Present collection), 4 Binders full of Yankees, 4 binders full of Mets, 5 binders full of Rookies, one binder full of Managers, one binder full of Miscellaneous/funny cards and one “Team Binder” with team cards and Horizontal cards.
I also have 12 binders full of Basketball Cards that continues to grow.
Here is my shelf (excuse the scatters singles on the table!):

lol no worries dude, always good just to have an idea of what's out there
there are smaller sizes as well, unfortunately they only had these when I went. If I can contain the entirety of my collection in those two and maybe a couple binders, I would be super happy.
