Filthy card. 2nd favorite Legacy version after 96-97
Thanks guys! Much appreciated!!! Was hoping to trade it for some sweet stuff for the PC, but no one wants to trade anything nice, opting to trade crap instead. Might end up just adding this one to the PC long term.

Again, nothing earth shattering but I’m still happy with what I found. Ignore the sticker prices, my niece’s garbage pail kids and Pokémon boxes are what really burned a hole in my pocket. I’m kinda hooked on the 2021 GPK tins now, I want her to pull a sketch card. But I digress…

Crazy to think but at one time that Webber RC would have outsold ALL of those cards by a wide margin. :!:

Yea I can’t stress how sick that Ewing is, I’d hold onto it too.

As for the Webber, I’m curious now to go flip through some old Becketts just to see what it peaked at. I’m assuming it was right at/soon after release, wonder how long it took to drop a bit. Most of my issues are later years, but it would be really interesting to read the articles first covering 93 Finest.

Does anyone know the earliest issue that covered it?

Not too sure which issue, but I'm actually super curious to know what it peaked at myself. I remember those cards being the hottest thing ever when they released, the refractor stuff was unprecedented in basketball. There was nothing like it, Finest was the top of the food chain. 5-7 dollar packs...and that was BACK THEN! Proud to say I've actually seen some of these cards in person without any discoloration too...the Webber and Hardaway were such beautiful works of art. Still find myself looking at old 'key' refractor RC cards of those two, Hill, Kidd, Jones, Robinson, et al, but just can't bring myself to put money into them.

Crazy, I still see ungreened base copies from 93-94 but never any refractors. And the only refractors really left on my wantlist from the first 2 years are the Kidd and Hill. Kidd is especially hard because #teamlightskinned

This one felt good, wanted a copy since release. Has to be one of the best base card photos from that year.

Another successful instance of finding an eBay seller on IG.

I'm reluctantly moving into some college stuff due to the sheer amount of 2020 rookies on the Pacers roster right now. Their college stuff is at least player-worn. I snagged this Nesmith jumbo patch /5 for pretty cheap!

Nice haul, the Kidd Gold Medallion is sick and the Hill E-Motion RC is about as iconic as it gets.

Sharing a seldom seen one today, boys. Gary Trent, Electric Court Gold.

Got some more SICK EC golds at COMC including a KEY rookie, can't wait to share that one.

I had a 29 card mail day from Card Hobby arrive yesterday. This is one of my favorites even if it’s one of the least valuable ones. 22-23 Elite Status jersey numbered 99/99! It was hidden in a 4 card lot that I won for under $4.

Love the TC green kingofsnake.

@Showley double jersey #! I’m sure there’s at least a few 99/99 cards out there but tracking them down has to be tough!

Nice pickup! So many auctions I wanted to win but I have no idea how to qualify to bid on some of their auctions that requires a deposit.

Sorry to bog the thread down with non-pickup pics, but regarding the aforementioned 93-94 Finest rookies, I took these from the issues I had closest to release. Oct-Dec issues from 1994:
B7FF792C-8E12-4E16-975D-B028B0289770.jpeg
73EE17B6-F329-4336-B235-F9F73FA4E33A.jpeg

DDC1E03F-43D1-4922-9474-B21F15A7F312.jpeg
So going off the October issue, the Webber base was prob going for at least $25 judging by the $20 with a down arrow. Wonder if it peaked over $30. Crazy.

Found this too. Back of the March 2001 issue:
