Prices for Ohani cards have gone 200%+ in the last 3 months. Ever since the world baseball classic, his cards have gotten so expensive. His card market reminds me of 2020 where new comps are being set every week. Being a survivor of the 2020 market, his prices have to slow down eventually.
Do you guys think he becomes more affordable in the offseason?

Re: Ohtani Prices
More affordable in the offseason is tough to say, especially given that his contract is ending and he's almost certainly going to a new team and will rile up a new fanbase. Especially if it's the Dodgers, which looks like a good possibility. And if he doesn't sign elsewhere right away in the offseason there's a decent chance hype will continue to build that he ends up on a big market team.
At some point the growth will slow, but until we see where he ends up it's too tough to call at this point.
