How many times has Panini recycled the 2012 Prizm design?

Post by SHowley2003 »

They always look good but Panini is really milking this for all they can. I’ve counted 5 times in basketball alone.

-the original 2012 release
-2020 Prizm Flashback
-2021 Prizm Draft
-2023 Prizm Deca
-2024 WNBA Throwback autos

I’m curious. What else am I missing? I just assume they have also carried this design over to other sports at some point as well.

Pics for attention:

I don’t own any of the Flashback golds.

Yeah it seems like we’ve gotten a new 2012 design just about every year since the 2020 boom. Which also conveniently lines up with people calling 2012 Prizm golds “the next PMG”.. 🤔😄
Always looking for high end Nuggets cards, current players and Rare 90's/00's!
Player PC - Antonio McDyess, Danilo Gallinari, Gary Harris, Tim Duncan

I like Deca, even though they weren't able to get an exact match. I hope they do a Deca with 2013 as well.
