Happy to hear I'm not alone, I also didn't realize they were well liked. Pleasant surprise!

Re: Rolling PC thread
Yay, another PC thread, really enjoying it! I'm loving the themed posts. The Kemp autos are my fave, I feel like your passion for them oozes out of my screen. Cool that you got that IP one yourself and the other popped your auto cherry!

Re: A Rolling Mailday Thread (Basketball)
Got this one in recently for a decent price now that Panini 1'1/s are flooding the market, lol. For as many 1/1 parallels that Panini has put out, I feel like the black 1/1 will always be the go to for their "era" of bball cards. Love that card. The laser effect juxtaposed atop the game p...

Thanks for the Odom kind words. I LOVE the 02-03 SPGU set, going for the whole thing. Odom was so much cheaper than it should've been because there was some peeling on the paper on the back, but meh it's fine haha I think I have 12/24. I thought it was so much more *cry*. One of those is Shareef, wh...

Re: My Kings (+More) Collection
Lol, I just love that year of Pristine and Finest. Those are products I wish I didn't miss out on back then, maybe that's why I'm so drawn to his lot. Still dig the other stuff though. I don't think I've ever seen that Contenders cracked ice/atomic set either, dope ass Webber. Could easily pass as ...

Re: Nat Turner posts IG photo with Gonblott aka Nick Uliano
I'm with you guys. Never understood the obsession with these guys who own 5 and 6 figure cards that talk about the card market ad nauseum. Funny how they rarely talk about, you know, the cards themselves. Still can't believe no one cares that this guy with a hugely valuable collection is the head of...

Re: My Kings (+More) Collection
I love the Bobby Jackson spread, especially the Topps Pristine auto and Finest. You also mentioned the discoloring on the Reflections. There are a few late 90s/early 00s UD sets that fell victim to greening almost exactly like the Topps sets up until ~1998. Check out the '04 mj trilogy gold that I ...

^ Chris, you already know how I feel about that card (and set). Incredible grade on top of it. Congrats. and thanks Abra and Sac. I thought you guys would find this interesting too, because I had no idea they came in pouches. Even the seal on the certificate of authenticity envelope appears to have...

Re: My Kings (+More) Collection
Couple more players to share and an addition to a previous pc! First is Hedo Turkoglu, another player who joined the team in 2000-01. A 16th overall pick who found a way to contribute to a playoff team and lift that team into a title contender. Great player whose skills would be very valuable today ...

Beautiful card, not sure of the lore around the set or anything but I was surprised when I learned about the set because I knew about the Panini stained glass cards first. Very clean design and I love die cuts personally.

Okay I wasn't sure if it was just me, so Abra's response, especially to that auto confirms to me the insanity of your addition. Congrats on the Penny! Certainly an absolutely beautiful card, love the diecut and the auto is great. Were those buybacks inserted into a later product? Or were they simply...

Nice Grizz cards! Have a soft spot for those Sharifs given his later time on the Kings, and especially with such beautiful examples of cards that are so well photographed. I think those In the Name letters are so cool. 1/1 game used letters from 20 years ago? Yes please! Though I can't believe I've ...

Re: Game Used COA language
What's weird to me is there are new game-worn relics that list specific player and date, and others that are very vague. I don't expect them to have a date for every relic, but why will some name the player and others won't? My guess is the manufacturers are afraid of being liable for any major mis...

You know what I'll double up, since I have another ready to go. Back on the train with Bobby Jax, the Kings 6th man who was signed as a free agent in 2000 and eventually won 6MOY in 2003. A fan favorite whose energy and effort off the bench was contagious. It was awesome that he came back to the Kin...

Re: My Kings (+More) Collection
Been a couple weeks, oops! The last member of the 98-99 Kings team of whom I have cards in my collection is Chris Webber . The best player and MVP of the Kings of the glory years, who for some reason tends to be viewed by many negatively by my measure. He seems like a really great person, and I love...

Nice little Antoine Walker collection there. Good timing for your Pierce patch to have come in. I just saw recently that there's an autographed version of those 02 authentic patches
